Application Support Engineer (Linux SQL Python) London / WFH to €115,000

As an Application Support Engineer you'll be working closely with the development and testing teams, taking responsibility for investigating any 1st and 2nd line problems that occur with the platform; supporting queries, fixing bugs, finding solutions and seeing the issue through to resolution using JIRA Service Desk to manage tickets. You'll be working on a modern technology stack encompassing AWS, Python, Docker, Elastic Search, JIRA and Confluence.

Location / WFH:

There's a hybrid policy with two days work from home per week, with the rest of your time in modern, open plan New York offices with a range of first class facilities.

About you:

• You are degree educated in a technical discipline, having achieved a 2.1 or above in Computer Science preferred from a top tier university e.g. Ivy League or top 100 world university
• You have commercial experience in a similar Application or Technical Support role
• You have excellent SQL database skills
• You have a strong knowledge of Linux OS including Linux Sys Admin and Linux command line skills
• You have Python scripting / coding skills
• You have strong problem solving / bug fixing skills and able to see issues through to resolution
• You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
• You are a US citizen or have the right to work in the USA without restriction
