Brief DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYThe PMO Director develops and implements PMO processes and policies, directs project management staff, and works with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs. Directs and oversees the Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure programs and projects meet organization goals and requirements.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Oversee and direct adherence to NPD process
- Manage a team of project managers and provide guidance throughout project lifecycles
- Continuously improve project management toolkits and methodologies
- Defines the overall objectives and key deliverables for the project
- Develops and utilizes strong working relationships to ensure thorough and effective management of assigned project initiative(s)
- Provide monthly training on project methodology and other trainings as needed
- Provide Program Management and project team oversight
- Establish project benchmarks and key performance metrics (KPI’s)
- Work with finance business partner to manage quarterly project OPEX and CAPEX projections
- Translate the project vision into program high level scope, design and executables
Skills & AbilitiesEducation:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, science, business or related field required
- 10 years of experience in new product development and project management required
- Certified in Project Management is preferred
- Manufactured products experience preferred
- Experience in “waterfall” and “Agile” methodologies preferred
- Strong skills in several office suites including Microsoft especially Excel and Project
- Strong skills in multiple areas of Engineering systems
