Education and Experience

High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) with an Associate of Arts in Science degree in Electronics. A Bachelor degree in the electronics field a plus.

Required Skills

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

• Ability to read and comprehend Basic Math & English
• Prior history of job stability if not a recent college graduate
• Experience using electronics lab equipment a plus
• Electronics course-work is a plus and understanding of basic electronics is preferred. Candidates may be given a pre-employment evaluation on their understanding of the aforementioned. Extensive training will be provided.

Job Duties

Job duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Calibration and IQ/OQ Services at customer onsite.
• Some calibrations will be performed at the local Climet lab in Charlottesville.
• Provide customer technical support as needed
• Frequent domestic and international travel as necessary
• Strong interpersonal communication skills

• Must maintain a clean and organized work area
• Must follow all procedures established for ISO 9001 and ISO 17025
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

Successful Candidates must be able to perform the following:

• Ability to perform intricate hand manipulations, such as soldering, using a screw driver, and similar actions.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. from the floor to above your head
• Must be able to push a cart
• Sitting or standing for extended periods of time required
• Travel up to 50%
• Must have the ability to distinguish between colors
