We're looking for someone to join our team as a Practice Manager II who:

The Practice Manager II, in collaboration with the District Administrator/Director of Operations, is accountable for the day-to-day operations of the health center. Serving as the onsite representative of administration, the role focuses on implementing best practices, managing CSV health centers, and supporting culture transformation for improved health outcomes and patient experiences. This position ensures operational efficiency through daily management, monitoring, and reporting of health center objectives, demonstrating financial acumen, and acting as the primary point of contact for patients, employees, and providers.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee daily operations of one large or two practices and/or a specialty patient care program, managing practice and operating budget, appointment scheduling, billing procedures, and Joint Commission environment of care.
  • Set a climate of open communication, including Huddle participation and adherence to Leader Standard of Work.
  • Manage staff by assigning and delegating tasks as needed.
  • Work with providers to enhance patient service and address open encounters.
  • Ensure compliance with quality improvement guidelines and requirements from various entities.
  • Create, manage, and communicate reference guides, standard work, and policies related to Provider staff.
  • Maintain an office environment for optimal patient care and customer service.
  • Monitor overall health center efficiency through reports and dashboards.
  • Develop and recommend programs to enhance office operations, patient retentions, and appointment availability.
  • Determine and maintain efficient staffing levels, creating monthly work schedules.
  • Ensure policies and procedures align with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Approve payroll, manage time off requests, and optimize resource productivity.
  • Motivate and mentor staff, understanding billing systems, and maintaining advanced software knowledge.
  • Facilitate medical equipment, tools, and supplies purchase, manage procurement of office supplies and equipment.
  • Interview, select, and train new staff, conduct employee reviews, and coordinate training.
  • Uphold the highest level of professionalism in all relationships, prioritizing patient-centered strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary areas, including Behavioral Health, CPSP, WIC, Eligibility, Facilities, and other CSV departments.
  • Respond timely, professionally, and understand health center priorities.

You'll be successful with the following qualifications:

  • One (1) year experience as a Practice Manager I or equivalent is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or health management from an accredited four-year institution preferred, OR equivalent experience and education in a healthcare setting will be considered.
  • Three (3) years supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Proven leadership qualities.
  • Proven experience in a healthcare leadership or management role in a hospital setting
  • Minimum one (1) year managerial experience in a hospital setting: Required
