As an Emergency Room RN, you will provide both direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting. You will be responsible for delivering care that reflects initiative, flexibility, and professional responsibility with minimal supervision. Your ability to triage safely, rapidly, and accurately will be essential, as you determine priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs. Effective communication with Emergency Department physicians about changes in patients’ status, symptomatology, and diagnostic study results is crucial. Your quick and accurate response to changes in condition or treatment response will ensure the highest quality of care for every patient.
Qualifications:
- Current Indiana RN license.
- Certified in ACLS, PALS, and TNCC or willing to obtain.
- Two or more years of ICU or ER experience preferred.
- Ability to function in a highly stressful environment and adapt to quick changes.
