A top-tier medical center in Tucson, AZ, with 400 patient beds and a prestigious Magnet designation for excellence in nursing services from The American Nurses Credentialing Center, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospital Director of Supply Chain. This role is critical in managing the supply chain operations for our facility, encompassing purchasing, inventory management, and the distribution of supplies and equipment.

The Director of Supply Chain will be responsible for overseeing the financial performance related to supply chain activities, including evaluating spend against established targets, ensuring contract compliance, and managing budgets and forecasts. This role involves developing strategic plans to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. The Director of Supply Chain will also ensure that issues related to both existing and new products are resolved promptly and cost-effectively, direct product conversion efforts, and build strong relationships with peers and administrative leadership. Participation in various committees and meetings is expected, along with leading and directing the work of the supply chain team. The Director of Supply Chain will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer, with an indirect reporting relationship to the Regional Supply Chain Leader, and will perform a variety of tasks as assigned.

The ideal Hospital Director of Supply Chain candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, with a Master’s degree preferred. A minimum of three years of hospital supply chain experience is preferred, along with certification as a Certified Materials and Resources Professional (CMRP).
