This highly rated Acute Care Hospital is seeking a very strong hospital leader with previous management or director experience in large hospitals and trauma centers.

This not for profit, acute care hospital has over 500 beds and is a Level I Trauma Center. The hospital is a leader in Emergency Services for both Adults and Pediatrics, Cardiac Care, Cancer Care and Womens and Childrens Services.

The ED Nurse Director will work with nursing leadership and senior hospital leadership on department and hospital wide quality initiatives. The Nursing Director Emergency will oversee budget, the department policies and procedures, and will maintain operations with state and Joint Commission guidelines.

The ED Director is required to have a New York Registered Nursing license, Master’s Degree, multiple years of clinical experience in the ED as well as at least 3 years of ED Director experience in a Level I Trauma Center.
