We seek a dynamic and experienced Nurse Director Medical Surgical Telemetry to lead a 60 bed unit at a prestigious hospital in the Metro-Atlanta area! Reporting to the Senior Director of Inpatient Nursing, the successful candidate will drive excellence in patient care, team collaboration, and operational efficiency. This hospital is called a “destination for nursing.”
This hospital is Magnet-designated and one of Georgia’s highest-ranked hospitals. The large regional health system has over 3,000 patient beds and 70 health specialty concentrations! The Med-Surg RN Unit Director will oversee an established Medical-Surgical Inpatient Unit and assist with their upcoming Magnet redesignation survey.
The ideal candidate brings a wealth of experience as a nurse leader, showcasing a robust clinical background and a demonstrated history of success in leadership positions within the healthcare field. The Med-Surg RN Unit Director will not be partaking in patient care but instead leading an accomplished team of Medical-Surgical RNs, many of whom have earned their certification — MEDSURG-BC. Support will come in the form of an Assistant Nurse Manager, Charge Nurses, House Supervisors, and a Medical-Surgical RN Educator.
