As the Nurse Director of Palliative Care and Hospice, you will be at the forefront of compassionate patient care, leading a dedicated team in providing exceptional end-of-life care. The Hospice Program Nursing Director will report directly to the Assistant Vice President and have support of palliative care physicians, hospice nurse managers, and hospice nurses. 

Nurse Director Palliative Hospice Care Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required. A Master’s Degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field is preferred.
• Current NJ RN licensure upon hire.
• 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience in Hospice and/or Palliative Care is required.
• Acute care hospital experience required.
• Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing, Administration is preferred.

Preferred candidates for the Hospice Program Nursing Director will also have knowledge of New Jersey hospice rules and regulations, Joint Commission requirements for Hospice and Palliative Care, and experience with NetSmart and Nextgen systems, including query and report writing skills.
