Under the guidance of the Service Line Director, the Nurse Manager Emergency Services will supervise both clinical and administrative functions within the recently upgraded and expanded ED. Recognized as a Level III Trauma Center, this department handles over 800 trauma cases annually and provides care to numerous emergency patients. 

The Nurse Manager will be responsible for department staffing, engaging in recruitment activities, assessing and appraising staff performance, creating training programs, enforcing departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, overseeing departmental budgets, and actively participating in several hospital committees.

The Nurse Manager will possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Additionally, previous nursing experience in an inpatient Emergency Department setting is preferred. Candidates with leadership experience in a similar nursing setting will earn a quick interview, as will MSNs and CENs.
