The Nurse Supervisor of Endoscopy will directly report to the Nurse Manager of Endoscopy. This individual must provide daily updates regarding the status of the various operating rooms to their superior and will be expected to work together with the Nurse Manager of Endoscopy to guarantee all rules and regulations are being followed. Serving as a direct leader to the Endoscopy Nurses, the Nurse Supervisor of Endoscopy must be readily available to provide their assistance and guidance during any pressing and/or critical situation.

The Nurse Supervisor of Endoscopy will be expected to help manage and provide direct oversight to the various operating rooms while their team performs various clinical procedures. The Nurse Supervisor of Endoscopy must hold their BSN and ideally have 1-3 years’ experience helping manage an endoscopy department as well as a team of nurses. Equipped with cutting-edge technology within their endoscopy department, the Nurse Supervisor of Endoscopy will be required to be well-versed in any and all clinical equipment utilized within their department. The Nurse Supervisor of Endoscopy must be regularly informed regarding the care being administered within the operating rooms, and must be able to highlight their team’s strengths, and pinpoint any weaknesses and provide the necessary training to address any matter.
