Oncology Nurse RN Navigator
Hospital - Infusion Center - Western Nebraska
A hospital in Western Nebraska is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Navigator to serve as an ongoing resource for patients receiving cancer treatment services.
Oncology Nurse Navigator Responsibilities:
- Educate patients and families about the disease and treatment options through survivorship
- Promote the achievement of desired clinical outcomes through knowledge of pathophysiology, physical and psychosocial assessment, and evidence-based practice
Oncology Nurse Navigator Requirements:
- Nebraska RN license (within 60 days of hire)
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
- 2 years RN experience, with oncology or ambulatory care preferred
- OCN or AONN preferred
(Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
