We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a critical care setting.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients in the ICU
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Critical care experience
- Ability to lift and move patients when necessary
- Familiarity with Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems
- Strong anatomy knowledge
- Understanding of hospital medicine practices
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities
- Collaboration with doctors and other healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of infant care practices
- Proficiency in medical systems and technology
