Requirements:

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate

Responsibilities:

• Providing classroom academic and behavioral support to students and teachers.
• Communicating effectively with students, parents, staff, administration, and outside agencies.
• Scheduling, developing, and implementing PBIS and MTSS for students.
• Developing re-evaluation plans, coordinating testing with school psychologists and other
• ancillary staff, collecting teacher input, and developing and scheduling re-evaluations with
• Director of Student Services.
• Assisting administration with development of early literacy and mathematic interventions.
• Ability to be flexible throughout the school day to accommodate student needs.
• Ability and willingness to serve in a team-teaching capacity.
• Ability to interpret evaluation and testing results.
• Understanding of services available in the community to refer parents to for support.
• Ability and willingness to work closely with the Director of Student Services and
• administration.
• Development and implementation of social emotional learning plans and lessons.
• Work collaboratively with school counselors to provide interventions with students as
• needed.
