What will you be contributing to?

As Senior IT Operations Specialist, you will report to our Head of IT Operations and Security (ITOS) and you will be a key member of the ITOS team (10 colleagues), which is part of global IT team with over 30 colleagues in our offices and factories across Europe. You will play a pivotal role in supporting and making improvements to our application hosting environment and tasks related to IT security and networking landscape, enabling effective and effective operation, supporting overall company goals, and contributing to its competitive advantage.

Our IT infrastructure environment covers 7 factories, 9 office locations and 2 datacenters and delivery of locally and SaaS hosted applications to Cloetta locations and remote workers. Cloetta has also decided to invest in a new greenfield factory in the Netherlands and you will play a key role in setting up IT infrastructure in this project. You will also team up with specialists for Application Management and Business Analytics and Integration teams in IT organization, and business stakeholders to deliver top notch and robust solutions that align with the company’s objectives.

You will be based in our office in Breda, the Netherlands, with travelling to our offices and factories in Roosendaal, Sneek and different countries in Europe where applicable. We have a hybrid work environment where you will have the possibility to work from home remotely.

Your responsibility will be to…

• Develop Cloetta’s n premise and cloud hosting, security, and network setup in collaboration with application and business intelligence specialists and business process leaders, owners and key users.
• Work together with OT team to develop robust and secure IT environment in factories.
• Evaluate existing solutions and identify areas for improvement, optimization, and innovation.
• Participate in projects and change requests, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines and best practices.
• Work closely together with Senior IT Security Specialist to embed security aspects in an integrated part of Cloetta’s IT infrastructure roadmap.

We are looking for you if you have the following qualifications...

• Educated to Bachelor/master’s degree level, preferably in information technology or other relevant area.
• Experience (3-5 years) as a Senior Specialist or comparable role or strong drive to take a step forward into a Senior Specialist role.
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to meet agreed targets, deadlines, and goals without direct, day-to-day supervision.
• Ability to work in an international team with colleagues that have diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Pro-active, self-motivated, and well-organized.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

You have good knowledge within these areas...

• Hosting and network technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Windows, Active Directory and VMWare.
• Knowledge of LAN and WAN networking and IT/OT environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of supply chain and how IT technologies are used in factories is an advantage.
• Also, knowledge about SASE and MS SQL Server is a plus.
