Closets To Go is seeking an machine operator with strong mechanical aptitude to join our team. We are a national company who manufactures high end custom cabinetry, custom closets & 5-piece shaker door fronts to both homeowners and other industry professionals who lack a manufacturing center. Our NEW European machinery and equipment are cutting edge and automate many tasks and will take your skill set to the next level!

The ideal candidate will have:

• a minimum of 3 years of woodworking machine operating experience
• experience safely operating a wide variety of equipment such as: table saws, beam saws, edge banders and CNC machining centers
• mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment
• familiarity with quality control processes
• Ability to use tools like micrometers for precise measurements
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Experience with materials handling and forklift operation
• great work ethic which includes being punctual & reliable
• have reliable transportation
• speak fluent English
• strong attention to detail & ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• be physically able to perform the job
• enjoy working in a collaborative team environment & independently
• be flexible in areas of when needed to accommodate a busy work schedule including various manufacturing equipment
• have computer literacy and great oral/ written communication skills

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operate and maintain CNC machines and other various manufacturing equipment
• Perform quality control checks using tools like micrometers
• Handle materials efficiently and safely, including using forklifts when necessary
• Utilize logic controllers to program machines for production runs
• Ensure proper handling of materials throughout the manufacturing process
