About The JobWe are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS, a strong background in security practices related to Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and experience in penetration testing. Additionally, experience managing serverless, service-oriented architectures on AWS is a plus.
Job Requirements
- 6 years of experience in a DevOps role, with a strong focus on AWS.
- In-depth knowledge of security best practices, particularly concerning PII.
- Hands-on experience with penetration testing and security auditing tools.
- Experience maintaining and updating Linux based servers. Familiarity with Observability and Monitoring tools.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure on AWS.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment of applications. Implement and enforce security best practices, particularly related to PII.
- Conduct regular security audits and penetration tests to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in a timely manner. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and security.
