IT Admin/Desktop Support
- Client is seeking a skilled and dedicated IT Engineer to join our IT Americas team. The IT Admin will be responsible for workplace assets management, providing level 2 support for retail and workplace environments, and handling special projects as assigned.
- This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Manage workplace assets including computers, peripherals, and software licenses.
- Provide level 2 support for retail and workplace IT issues, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems, network connectivity issues, and printer malfunctions.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and software.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and services.
- Handle special projects as assigned, such as system upgrades, migrations, and technology implementations.
- Document IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in the IT field.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of prior retail experience in a desktop support role
- Proven experience in IT support, asset management, project management and proven success implementing automation.
- Prior Retail industry experience required.
- Strong technical skills in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Experience with Windows Operating systems.
- Experience with SAP and XStore preferred.
- Network experience required.
- Familiarity with network protocols and configurations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
- Certification such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) is a plus.
- Travel required.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $34.00 per hour
