About the Department
Cloudflare's Production Engineering Team builds and runs the systems and software that support our solutions that handle trillions of requests per month, representing over 20% of global Internet traffic. Production Engineering ensures all of the new and existing features and functionality that Cloudflare offers can be managed at scale and meet the needs of our massively growing customer base.
The Release Manager Team within the Production Engineering organization is responsible for ensuring that we can deliver new features to production in a manner that supports both rapid innovation and safe change at scale to provide the speed and reliability that Cloudflare is known for.
What you'll do
In this role you'll help us build the deployment mechanisms that allow speed of innovation and safety through health meditation. You will be joining a of bright, hard-working, and supportive engineers who really care about their craft and will be accelerating innovation across all products that Cloudflare offers.

A rough list of the skills we would love to see you bring:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field; OR have relevant background/experience to the field.
• Programming experience in Go, or similar languages
• Experience in designing and implementing secure and highly-available distributed systems
• Experience (and love) for debugging to ensure the system works in all cases
• Experience with a continuous integration workflow and using source control (we use git)
• Experience with continuous delivery and deployment of a k8s hosted application
• Understanding of security issues and responsibilities
• Experience with monitoring, alerting and debugging high volume production systems
• Fluent in analyses of data sets such as logs
• Strong English language oral and written communications skills
• Designing and building APIs

Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.

• For Colorado-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $137,000 - $167,000
• For New York City, Washington, and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $154,000 - $188,000
• For Bay Area-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $162,000 - $198,000
