Job Description:
MUSTS
-PostgreSQL DBA who also has Mongo and Redis Experience
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Database Administrator, with expertise in MongoDB, Redis, and PostgreSQL.
Strong understanding of database design principles.
Proficiency in database installation, configuration, and administration.
Hands-on experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies.
Experience with database security best practices and compliance requirements.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., MongoDB Certified DBA, PostgreSQL Certified Professional) are a plus.
Experience and strong knowledge of building, automating and deploying instances in cloud and infrastructure environments on Amazon Web Service
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with database clustering and replication technologies.
Knowledge of cloud-based database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure Database, Google Cloud SQL).
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with database automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
Understanding of NoSQL databases and distributed systems concepts.
