We are looking for a Sales Training Manager in Seattle to coach the expanding sales team of an established and recognized med-kit provider and manufacturing firm out of Tukwila, WA. We are looking for someone who has extensive sales experience and desires to train junior employees, but also coach senior sales veterans by utilizing training manuals or developing/updating existing material. This is an on-site position at the firm’s offices in Tukwila with no remote options available.

Requirements

• Work with Business Development Reps to ensure they are following the sales process, utilizing the company scripts
• Utilize the call coaching and role play process in addition to shadowing sales appointments to increase the sales effectiveness and to enforce confidence for overcoming objections
• Ensure all new BDRs successfully complete the inhouse Sales Certification Process within 60 days of start date, and incumbent BDRs go through a periodic Sales Recertification Process
• Update any training materials and communicate to management and BDR’s
• Develop training for BDR staff that meets all levels of tenure

Essentials

• Hold new reps accountable to specific agreed-upon training and certification goals with timelines
• Require performance metrics against a timeline
• Provide Go/No Go recommendations on Reps to the Director of Sales
• Use scorecards and work with the Director of Sales to ensure BDRs are maintaining their activity & results levels to meet monthly, weekly, and daily goals and qualify for monthly bonuses
• Coach to close the gap on any shortfalls utilizing Gil Cargill Coaching techniques
• Evaluate and work with the Director of Sales to determine “will” or “skill” issues to close the gap

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be able and willing to travel
• Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
• At least 5-10 years of applicable B2B sales experience (retail, hospitality, etc.)
• Vaccination and immunization status for COVID-19 is required

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $95,000 - $110,000per year
