Caregiver responsibilities include:
Assisting clients with personal care services such as oral care, bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming
Medication reminders
Light housekeeping including laundry, dishes and vacuuming
Planning, preparing and serving meals
Assistance with transfers, walking and physical activity
Assistance with transportation to appointments, activities, errands, and shopping
Providing companionship and cheerful, compassionate assistance at all times.
Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
Experience:
Previous experience as a caregiver or in related field is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles.
Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
