Assignment Details: Emergency Room Day and Nights Shifts RN's Needed

Contract Length: 13 Weeks:

Pay: Travel Rate 74 Hourly at 2664 and 1465 NOT taxed
Location: New Britain and Meriden, CT
Shift: Three-Four Days Assignments Available
Preferred Start Date: ASAP-Compliance takes a couple weeks

Responsibilities:

• Provide all patient care in a manner that reflects respect for patient rights, dignity, values, culture preferences, and expressed needs
• Assess patient's physical, psychological, and social needs
• Administer medication and treatment to patients as ordered
• Assess pain and implement appropriate pain management techniques
• Develop, implement, and revise care plans that reflect patient's diagnosis
• Document patient history, symptoms, assessments, tests, and care according to guidelines
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and lab data, and report any abnormalities
• Educate patient and family on managing injuries and illnesses to ensure a safe discharge

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Valid ACLS, BLS, and PALS Certifications
• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of Connecticut
• 2 years of experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Excellent communication skills and strong critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism during stressful times
• Dedicated to providing the best patient care possible
• Must have general working knowledge of computers and department specific software
