Responsibilities
- Provide design output documentation to support major facility modifications and Project Engineering. Typical design output includes drawings, engineering instructions, data sheets, equipment specifications, equivalency evaluations, and calculations.
- Ensure designs are developed in accordance with ASME B31.3 and ASME B31.1 standards.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and plant organizations to produce timely design output.
- Demonstrate familiarity with NRC or DOE regulated environments, understanding Conduct of Engineering, Conduct of Operations, and Conduct of Maintenance for facilities operating within a nuclear regulated environment.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, effectively interfacing with clients, production and support organizations, management, and hourly wage employees.
- Perform field walk-downs and work in a production environment as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited institution.
- 5 or more years of relevant professional experience.
- Ability to obtain a Q clearance is required.
