Software Development Cloud Engineer (DevOps) - Pittsburgh, PA
Our TeamThe team builds and maintains multiple software applications that serve a wide array of customers, mainly facilitating payment processing. In this role, you will both aid in ensuring our customers have a secure and scalable experience when interacting with our technology and enable our engineers to deploy code autonomously. You will interact with a wide array of AWS services and supporting infrastructure and CI/CD tooling, but your main focus will be leveraging AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, AWS EKS, ArgoCD, and GitHub actions. You will also support engineers developing in a number of programming technologies, including but not limited to C# .NET, Java, Kotlin, and Angular.js, and build and maintain tooling in support of test automation and production monitoring.
Your RoleAs a Software (DevOps) Engineer within the Pineapple Payments business unit at Fiserv, you will develop and execute cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and Cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps in support of multiple product lines. You will partner hand in hand with Directors of application development ad Infrastructure to continuously deliver valuable products to customers that are scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Minimum Qualifications** :
- Experience deploying Web applications at scale with Kubernetes (EKS)
- Ability to design and implement automation and redundancy architectures, for example, CI/CD pipelines, cloud computing architecture patterns, real-time monitoring solutions, etc.
- Build monitoring/alerting around DevOps stack sing Grafana/Telegraf.
- Manage Infrastructure and Configuration using Terraform or any other modern tooling.
- Comfortable with the build tools, Linux, Database, and Python
- Command over cybersecurity best practices, including modern Web application security implementations, defense postures, policy and procedure creation, and compliance with standards and regulations, especially PCI-DSS.
