Discipline/Attendance:
Primary Disciplinarian. Provide leadership and support for teachers in the maintenance of an effective learning atmosphere through necessary and appropriate disciplinary measures. Assist in supervising conduct within the school, oversee all disciplinary procedures, and maintain disciplinary records
Confer with SRO, juvenile authorities, and other support personnel as needed
Communicate with the principal and school counselor in regards to student behavior/discipline
Supervise the reporting and monitoring of student attendance and work with the attendance secretary for investigating follow-up actions
Communicate with parents as needed regarding student behavior and attendance
Supervise the work of attendance rules and regulations and make indicated changes within the student handbook
Supervision/School Management:
Supervision of bus unloading and loading
Supervision of the lunchroom, halls, classrooms
Assist principal with evening supervision responsibilities
Assist in providing leadership in moments of school crisis and civil disobedience
Assist with the planning and supervision of mandatory safety drills
Keep abreast of change in developments in the profession by attending professional meetings
Assist as administration liaison in case conferences when needed
Management of Virtual School grades 1-6
Accept all other duties as assigned by the school principal
Staff:
Assist principal with staff observations
Assist in the selection, training, assigning, and retention of staff
Community:
Confer with individual parents as needed
Maintain an awareness of factions outside the school, which affect the school program
Attempt to be involved in one or more community program
