Position Overview:
Are you an experienced Toolmaker looking for a new challenge? Clow Stamping Company is seeking a talented individual to join our team. As an Experienced Toolmaker, you will play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing operations by fabricating, maintaining, and repairing tooling components used in the production of precision metal stampings and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate, maintain, and repair tooling components used in metal stamping processes.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand project requirements and ensure accurate production of tooling.
  • Perform precision machining, grinding, milling, and finishing operations to meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
  • Conduct dimensional inspections and quality checks using metrology tools and equipment to verify the accuracy of finished components.
  • Troubleshoot tooling issues, identify root causes of problems, and implement effective solutions to optimize tool performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate with team members to support production schedules, meet project deadlines, and achieve production targets.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Toolmaker in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in precision machining, including operating lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment.
  • Strong understanding of tool and die making principles, materials, and processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot tooling issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Shift Information:

  • Must be able to train on first shift (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM) and work second shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM) upon completion of training.
