As A Benefit Specialist You Will :
401(k) Enrollments
Administer and manage the 401(k) enrollment process for new hires and existing employees
Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee contributions and company matches
Coordinate with the 401(k) plan provider to resolve any issues or discrepancies
Benefits Administration
Manage the enrollment, renewal, and administration of employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and other voluntary benefits
Provide employees with information and assistance regarding their benefit options and claims
Maintain accurate records of employee benefits and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
Collaborate with vendors and brokers to address any benefit-related issues or questions
Generate regular reports related to benefits for leadership review
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of benefits administration
Serve as the primary contact for benefits inquiries and issues resolution, providing prompt and accurate guidance to employees
Leaves of Absence
Administer all types of leaves of absence, including FMLA, personal leave, and other statutory leaves
Ensure proper documentation and tracking of leave requests and approvals
Communicate leave policies and procedures to employees and managers
Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate leave payments and deductions
Unemployment Claims
Manage unemployment claims and respond to inquiries from state agencies
Gather and provide necessary documentation to support or contest unemployment claims
Monitor and track unemployment claims and their impact on the organization
Time Off Management
Oversee the time off request process, ensuring compliance with company policies
Provide guidance to employees and managers on time off policies and procedures
Ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation of time off records
What We Are Looking For In You :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Proven experience in benefits administration required
Strong knowledge of 401(k) plans, employee benefits, and leave laws (FMLA, ADA, etc.)
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
