Key Responsibilities: 

Program Coordination: 

• Assist in planning, executing, and closing programs. 
• Monitor program progress and handle any issues that arise. 
• Coordinate activities, resources, staff, and information. 
• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants. 
• Work with the Program Manager to eliminate blockers. 

Program Implementation: 

• Support the creation of youth community networks to increase advocacy. 
• Plan and coordinate activities of youth programs. 
• Assist in organizing online and on-campus events. 
• Compile and prepare reports on campaign outcomes and community engagement. 

Youth and Community Engagement: 

• Engage young people in the advocacy and community planning process. 
• Assist in conducting needs assessments. 
• Assist in conducting evaluations 
• Coordinate outreach and recruitment of youth for all programs. 
• Organize and facilitate training on cultural competency and trauma-informed care. 
• Manage the implementation of connectivity check-ups in schools. 
• Conduct and report on qualitative data gathering from youth perspectives. 
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed or directed to support the program and organization's overall objectives. 

Administrative Duties: 

• Schedule and attend meetings with stakeholders. 
• Ensure timely submission of reports, invoices, and supporting documentation. 
• Maintain communication with County staff and respond to correspondence within stipulated timeframes. 
• Maintain communication with School Administrative Staff and respond to correspondence within stipulated timeframes. 

Data Collection and Reporting: 

• Compile and prepare reports on program outcomes and community engagement. 
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative data gathering from youth perspectives. 
• Support the development of comprehensive project plans and reports. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Education, or a related field. 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in program coordination or management. 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools. 
• Experience in youth engagement and advocacy is highly desirable. 

Working Conditions: 

• This position may require occasional evening and weekend work. 
• The role involves traveling within Solano County – Vallejo CA to attend meetings and events.
