Club Z! ACT/SAT Tutors:

Our Club Z! Tutors work one-on-one with local high school students to help them prepare for and succeed on the ACT, SAT, and PSAT Exams. We teach each student using an existing curriculum supplemented by additional materials. 

We are seeking in-person tutors for immediate placement to support our students in ACT/ SAT Test Prep. This is a part-time position ($36-$42 per hour to start), working one-on-one with school students in the greater Rockville, SilverSpring, and Bethesda areas!

Qualifications:

• Must have extensive experience with the SAT or ACT Tests, plus an in-depth understanding of strategies and study methods.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of the SAT Evidence-Based Reading, Writing, and Math sections.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of Teaching / Tutoring Experience.
• Reliable transportation; must live close to the greater Rockville, Silver Spring, and Bethesda areas. 
• Early evening hours are required. Weekend availability is a plus.
• Access to the internet, computer, and cell phone.
• Ability to attend training (all training is paid at the training rate);

Compensation for SAT and ACT Test Prep tutoring starts at $36-$42 per hour for tutoring and $15/hour for training, with opportunities for referral bonuses and annual increases.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and tutor individual students in a non-classroom setting.
• Design and implement lesson plans.
• Establish academic goals and milestones with students.
• Document and communicate weekly progress reports.
• Provide constructive feedback for students.
• Review and assign homework as necessary. 
• Facilitate and conduct tutoring sessions at the scheduled time and location.
