Job Summary
Responsible for promoting the game of Tennis/Pickleball and the club while providing quality service and assisting with the racquet shop operations. This includes accurately ringing up charges at the register and properly checking in all Tennis & Pickleball players. Responsible for seeing that daily assignments are completed and perform close of shift functions. Reports directly to the Tennis Shop Manager.
Day-to-Day
- Responsible for efficient and friendly customer service throughout the pro shop, properly checking in all tennis and pickleball players prior to play.
- Responsible for ringing up all lessons, court fees and merchandise. Exhibit proper cash handling procedures.
- Promote the game of tennis/pickleball and promote the Club while maintaining a high level of professionalism and service
- Respond to inquiries, lessons and court reservations for Members and guests both in person and on the phone in a friendly manner.
- Maintain pro shop and ensure it is always neat and organized.
- Responsible for seeing that daily assignments are completed in their respective areas.
- Must be able to interact with Members/Guests professionally, helping them with changes and last-minute requests as needed.
About You
- Customer service experience required.
- Basic Tennis Knowledge preferred.
- Previous Retail experience preferred.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
