Job Title: National Outing Sales Director

Job Description: The National Outing Sales Director is responsible for identifying and targeting new business opportunities to grow golf outing revenue for our Golf & Country Club Division. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, conducting market research, managing and executing sales-related projects, building and maintaining national client relationships, executing sales strategies, and tracking performance. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a tactical mindset, and a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities:

Performance Tracking:

  • Monitor and report on sales performance, including key metrics and KPIs.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on sales activities, progress, and achievements.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Adjust strategies as needed to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue.

Project Management:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee various sales-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Define project objectives, establish timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure successful execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Prepare and present detailed project status reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, accomplishments, and areas for improvement.

Sales Execution:

  • Generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional materials and campaigns that drive sales.

Business Development:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities to increase golf outing revenue nationally.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed annual revenue goals.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends and potential clients.
  • Create and execute strategies for lead generation for our Golf & Country Clubs, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events to strengthen golf outing pipeline.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or a similar role, preferably in the events or hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of the outings and events market and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
