DescriptionPay Range: $15 - $18 / hourRye Street Tavern, one of Clyde’s Restaurant Group’s latest concepts, is opening in July 2024. We are seeking passionate Prep Cooks to join our team. Rye Street Tavern is located on the waterfront of the Baltimore Peninsula development adjacent to Sagamore Distillery. Our 400-seat restaurant features two great indoor bars, a 70-seat outdoor bar overlooking the water, an incredible patio, show kitchen, and our famous oyster bar.

- Experience as a prep cook desired preferably in a high-volume restaurant
- Ability to read and prep recipes to measurements and standards
- Washes, peels, slices, dices, chops and otherwise prepares raw vegetables meat and fish
- Uses a commercial food slicer to slice various meats, cheese and vegetables
- Uses a commercial food processor to prep foods
- Operates both convection and conventional ovens and gas ranges
- Lifts, handles, weighs and portions food items using a commercial portion control scale
- Labels, dates and stores prepped product
- Cleans, wipes and scours prep equipment and machinery and sweeps and mops prep area floors
