Clymer Farner Barley is expanding! CFB Surveying is looking for a current student or recent graduate that is pursuing a career as a Professional Surveyor to join our team as a Surveyor in Training (SIT) . CFB is the primary civil engineering and surveying firm for The Villages, Florida. We have offices located in Wildwood, Ocala, and Clearwater. This position is to be filled in Clearwater; however, our other offices are open to hiring as well!

Training and Responsibilities to include:

• Consulting with clients.
• Providing guidance and direction to office staff and field crews.
• Team building skills within the technical survey staff.
• Overseeing survey aspects of land development projects and/or directing preparation of all types of survey plans.
• Train field staff in land surveying procedures.
• Prepare weekly survey crew schedules.
• Monitor project schedules.
• Manage and coordinate projects with multiple team members.

Key Qualifications for Position:

• Great attitude and willing to learn.
• Currently working to obtain or have recently obtained a degree in Geomatics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software is a plus.
