To achieve this mission, we are looking for a System/DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure as a Service Team. You will work in our Breda office with a team of experienced and passionate IT professionals who share your vision and enthusiasm. You will report to the IT Manager and work closely with the DevOps Engineers and System Administrators. You will also communicate with other stakeholders across the company.

We recently finished the design and building phase of our Global Private Cloud. Now, we are looking to further streamline maintenance and automate deployments on top of this platform. This infrastructure serves many of CM's internal development teams and allows us to bring our services to customers around the world.

What you will do

• Maintain and further professionalize the IT infrastructure that supports our global operations and products
• Work with Dell, Purestorage, Juniper, VMware and other suppliers on our private cloud
• Combine our private cloud with public clouds to create the best possible platform
• Automate as much as possible using infrastructure as code tools and practices
• Collaborate with development teams to provide them with a reliable and secure platform for deploying their software and services
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in the IT infrastructure
• Work systematically to improve the quality and efficiency of the IT infrastructure
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in the IT field

You connect with us, if you have:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• 5 years of experience as an IT infrastructure architect or a similar role
• Knowledge of Dell, Purestorage, Juniper, and VMware or similar systems
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Ansible and Terraform
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, BGP, etc.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluency in English. Knowledge of the Dutch language is a nice-to-have.
• A proactive, creative, and solution-oriented mindset
• Willingness to learn new skills and technologies
