Responsibilities include:
  • Establish a solid professional relationship with clients and educate them on best practices
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism
  • Make contact with accounts on an inbound and outbound basis via telephone, e-mail, letter, and other means as required to secure payment/payment arrangements/dispute particulars
  • Negotiate payment terms for overdue commercial and consumer accounts
  • Processing of payments
  • Analyze account’s accounts to offer the best solutions to settle their debts
  • Maintain accounts and keep updated records in CMC’s databases
  • Skiptracing and/or locating accounts which are no longer in the location provided by the creditor
  • Update client account information with e.g. commitments to pay, amounts & dates, collection call updates. Document call activity details
  • Perform to regulatory standards and best practice on collections
  • Managing a daily/weekly/monthly caseload meeting targets and metrics as assigned
  • Identifying and resolving disputes as necessary
Required skills:
  • Excellent oral, written, and active communication skills for consistent collection calls
  • Good math skills with the ability to perform basic calculations quickly
  • Excellent negotiation, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work and adapt in a fast and changing environment
  • Actively listen
  • Excellent results-oriented priority management
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Remote Work
  • Once probation and training are completed and managers sign off on employee competency, they will transition to full time remote work.
  • Employees are required to have a working cell phone, highspeed internet, workspace and a separate door with a lock to secure work assets.
  • Computer will be provided for company use only.

  • $43,000- 47,500 salary ability to earn profit sharing
  • A dynamic and inclusive work environment

Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30AM to 5:00PM
Education:
  • High school diploma
Experience:
  • 2 years previous experience in sales, customer service or office/call center experience
  • Collection experience preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong negotiation and critical thinking skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
Language:
  • English
  • Bilingual an asset but not required
