Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including developing and implementing sales strategies, prospecting new clients, building and maintaining relationships, conducting market and retailer-specific analysis, and providing logistics and distribution solutions. The role is home based, however being located in Southern CA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong business development and sales skills
• Experience in the food industry, specifically in produce/perishables
• Knowledge of conventional and Hispanic marketplace, headquarters, and retail
• Ability to develop branded and co-branded opportunities, including private label/control label/bilingual
• Analytical skills for market and retailer-specific analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Logistics and distribution knowledge
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. Experience in the industry is a must.
