We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Regional Director of Inpatient Mental Health Services to oversee the inpatient mental health services for three facilities. Our primary focus is on trauma-related disorders rather than biological disorders. The ideal Regional Director of Inpatient Mental Health Services will have extensive experience in managing inpatient mental health units, with a strong emphasis on secured unit management. The Regional Director Inpatient Mental Health Services role requires a visionary leader who can ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining the safety and security of our facilities. Job Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Psychiatry, Nursing, or a related field. Extensive experience in inpatient mental health services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Extensive experience in trauma-related disorders and secured unit management. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful clinical programs. Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in mental health care. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and oversight for inpatient mental health services across three buildings. Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care. Lead and mentor a team of mental health professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards. Clinical Oversight: Oversee the delivery of trauma-focused mental health services, ensuring that treatment plans are evidence-based and tailored to individual patient needs. Collaborate with clinical staff to develop and implement innovative treatment programs and interventions. Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery. Operational Management: Manage the daily operations of inpatient mental health units, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation. Ensure the security and safety of patients, staff, and facilities, with a particular focus on secured units. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services and continuity of care. Community and Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and external agencies to support patient care and program development. Represent the organization at local, regional, and national forums, advocating for trauma-informed mental health services.
