Example: Week 1: Monday-Thursday: 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Week 2: Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-5:30 pm Friday OFF

Job description

Overview of Position

This position resides in the warehouse and reports to the Warehouse Manager.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Coordination of shipments and deliveries.
  • Be the primary logistics contact for customers, technical support department, transportation brokers, carriers and drivers
  • Develop lead times and procedures to ensure that contact and coordination is well in advance of order pick-up
  • Ensure orders are identified, picked, staged and delivered to customers on time.
  • Generate pick tickets and shipping paperwork to support warehouse shipping operations.
  • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all orders shipped, including but not limited to serial numbers, freight charges and taxes.
  • Process orders, invoices and tracking data on customer web portal, as necessary.
  • Bill shipped orders to customers the same day as shipment, ensuring that all shipments are billed to customers, all invoices are complete, taxes are correct and charges are accurate.
  • Maintain and file all invoice and shipping documents by date and invoice number.

Other Responsibilities

  • Assist other departments as requested or required.
  • Provide additional research, analysis and reports as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Skills:

· Ability to work independently with limited supervision

· Hands-on approach and attention to detail

· Self starter with sense of urgency

· Well organized and collaborative

· Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills

· Read and write English effectively

· Complete ownership of areas of responsibility

· Excellent phone, computer and analytical skills

· Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities

Experience:

· Experience in logistics and warehouse operations

Preferred Qualifications

· Minimum qualification high school diploma

· Bilingual abilities (Spanish)

· Experience with NetSuite or other full ERP systems is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
