CMX Cinemas Brickell, located in the heart of Miami at Brickell City Centre, provides a world-class dinner-and-a-movie experience, featuring chef-crafted American Bistro cuisine, signature cocktails and a large wine collection. The location features 10 auditoriums, all offering full-service in-theater dining, oversized reclining seats, and cutting-edge digital technology. The trendy CMX Stone Sports Bar is located in the lounge of the theater and provides sports enthusiasts a redefined experience to watch their favorite teams on giant LED screens, while also enjoying chef-crafted food options, signature handcrafted cocktails and an extensive beer and wine list.
Job Requirements:
- Management or supervisory experience in the theater, retail, hospitality, or restaurant industries; high volume experience preferred
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge & experience in the following areas:
- Building, coaching, and developing a team
- Hands-on leadership style
- Coaching and corrective action
- Understanding and skillful with: Guest services & problem-solving
- Business Development - Driving/attracting business
- P&L impact - Cost controls, quality standards
- Teamwork
- Building relationships with staff, superiors, and guests
- Passion for and commitment to the theater/restaurant industry
- Entrepreneurial attitude and approach to thinking required to lead an emerging concept/brand (i.e. sees big picture, embraces critical thinking, quest for continuous improvement, innovative)
- Ability to make decisions and take responsibility for them, even when there isn't a clear precedent or direction
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate directions and expectations to staff and management and has the sincere desire to build, coach, and develop successful teams
- Commitment to fostering an environment of superior guest service and quality; ability to successfully resolve guest service issues
- Basic technical aptitude and computer literacy to include the ability to operate point-of-sale software, scheduling software, MS Word, and MS Excel
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday
- Interest in future Assistant General Manager or General Manager positions and ability to relocate as needed for upward mobility strongly preferred
