Role: Team Leader Commercial Lines Servicing DepartmentGeneral DescriptionAs a Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager, you will leverage your skills, commercial insurance subject matter expertise, and all other resources: education, knowledge, skills, competence, technology, adaptability, and professionalism within the scope of your position to perform at maximum efficiency. You will be responsible to your assigned Director and will work individually and collectively with your team to meet or exceed the projected weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual strategic professional performance goals. Reports to the Commercial Lines Director
Role Specific Outcomes (Sr Account Manager/Team Leader)Service
Provide expert customer service to each potential, existing, or former client of own book consisting of the VIP large commercial accounts.
Experience in real estate, builders risk, habitational, and large property and casualty commercial accounts.
Answer incoming client calls and answer any coverage questions, as necessary, from Team.
Manage service inbox, follow up on emails within 24hrs
Manage service voicemails and coordinate with respective Broker/AM
Send Loss Control Recommendations to insured for review and completion
Manage any high-level questions and insure the carrier receives all relevant documents
Process endorsements as required for compliance or insureds request on own book.
Support Teammates desk in their absence
Sr AM will be responsible to train their AMs in conjunction with the corporate trainer
Potentially be asked to travel on rare occasions with your assigned producer to further client relationships on sizable accounts
Supervises #---3 Account Managers and 3 CSRs:
Renewal
Handle own book of renewals with goal of client retention and maintaining strategic carrier relationships
Quote and present renewal to insured
AM will renew all lines of business in Applied
Handle billing questions and adjustments with clients/carriers
Round out accounts/cross sell existing client relationships
CSR’s will be responsible for policy checking
Will oversee team quality control for accuracy of work; updated training of team
Be the ‘go to’ person for daily questions and decisions, unless referred to the Director.
Competencies and Measurable Metrics for Bonus Program (Personal VIP Commerical Book)
Maintain Correspondence Rate of 100%
Maintain Resolved Billing Accuracy of over 95%
Maintain Retention Rate of over 90 %
Promote Referrals to clients at a rate of over 90%
Meets proficiencies within assigned time frame
Complete Total CSR -> 90 Days
Obtain licensing within 90 days (terminable offense)
Education and Certifications
Must have EPIC agency software experience
Bachelors is preferred or combination of experience and some college
Insurance P&C Agents License required
Insurance designations encouraged
Competencies of Team Leader.
Work to align all training modules and performance metrics
Build relationships with the Carriers and E&S Brokers
Maintain knowledge base of the appetites of various markets
Aggressively obtain competitive pricing for insureds
Coaching of Team to ensure a smooth working environment
