DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate and conduct regular field observations/site visits of the MEPF construction work to ensure that it aligns with the approved construction drawings and specifications
• Verify that the materials used and the installation methods employed meet the specified standards and requirements
• Review the field installation of MEPF design systems to ensure the intent of the project specifications and construction drawings were met
• Examine and adequately understand project scope, project specifications, and design intent for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and related construction documents
• Review and process contractors’ submittals
• Review and respond to RFIs with assistance from the design team if needed
• Create Field Reports, maintain and file records in a timely manner
• Document all site visit activities while evaluating the progress
• Cross collaborates with all business lines and ensures compliance to all timeframe

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Proven track record for completing tasks with excellent time management skills
• Critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze interrupted data
• Advanced attention to detail with excellent verbal and technical writing skills
• Ability to coordinate and work collaboratively across all lines of business

TECHNOLOGY/COMPUTER EXPERIENCE:

• Working knowledge of Field Wire is preferred
• Working knowledge in Bluebeam
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Work, PowerPoint, and Outlook

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

• Recent experience in construction MEP-related field
• Working knowledge in Bluebeam

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
• Must be able to lift 60lbs
• Must be able to climb ladders
• Must be able to pass background and drug screen
• Travel is required

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Environment: Work is performed mainly in an indoor and outdoor setting with exposure to all types of weather and temperature conditions and travel from site to site
• Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination; to travel to other locations
• Must be able to complete safety training for any job site as required by the General Contractor in charge of the job site
