CNO Financial Group’s is hiring a Sales Communications Specialist to work on the communication initiatives and incentives related to projects and events that improve Bankers Life goals and the overall Field experience.

As a Sales Communications Specialist your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with Field Newsletters and or Compliance Alerts—editing and leading the information.
  • Personalized Emails lead – track retention and recruiting programs via Epsilon email platform (inclusive of NAAP, MHP Referral tracking).
  • Able to Lead the BLAS Touchpoint Newsletter BLAS Field Compliance Alerts
  • Leading BSM open emails BSM Welcome Emails
  • Responsible for leading the Personal Referral Program reporting / contest updates
  • Providing technical writing and proofreading/editing support for the creation of internal communications, including but not limited to printed, online, and multimedia materials such as Field newsletters, resources, company magazines, and related communications.

Sales Communications Specialist position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Lead invoicing submissions and routing, supply ordering and annual 1099 tracking for expenses as
    outlined by the provisions of the Internal Revenue Code.
  • Responsible for managing supplies and maintenance of storage areas and materials
  • Handle special requests as outlined by SVP of Sales, to help drive sales, ensure strong performance
    and meet company goals and initiatives.
  • Communication with heavy exposure to executive team ~ must have a kind and professional demeanor to project a positive image for the company
  • Strong attention to detail – the ability to supervise multiple projects in varying stages of completion.
    comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment.
  • Validated interpersonal skills that excel in a team environment but are also comfortable working

What you’ll need:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree Required or 4 years of corporate experience.
  • Writing skills to write clear, grammatically correct, professional content for internal communications to the field members.
  • Strong attention to detail – the ability to supervise multiple projects in varying stages of completion.
  • Microsoft Word/Outlook/Office365; including PowerPoint and experienced with Excel and able to do SUMIF, COUNTIF and Vlookup functions.

What will set you apart:

  • Able to build effective, engaging, and concise copies to support promotional and communications objectives.
  • Experience in proofreading and reviewing documents to ensure consistency, accuracy, grammatical, and compositional correctness.

This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any US based location within the central or eastern time zone. Associates who live within a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando and Milwaukee) will have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and work from home at least 3 days/week. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
