Position : Medical Receptionist / Call Center Representative
Full-Time / Part-Time : Full-Time
Shift : Monday - Friday Days
Rate of Pay : $15.00 - $19.50 per hour

Responsible for receiving incoming tele calls in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner and greets / assists visitors in the same manner.
Acknowledges and greets patients as they approach the desk. Reviews and updates all demographic / insurance information.
Collects co-pays and balances as needed and enters payment into patient account. Balances cash drawer at the end of shift.
Answers tele calls in a prompt and professional manner. Routes calls appropriately taking accurate and complete messages when necessary.
Schedules, cancels, or reschedules appointments when necessary. Responsible to recognize, label, and route the appropriate document to the correct provider and location within the Electronic Medical Record.
Perform a variety of clerical duties including preparing mailings, filing, faxing, scanning and photocopying.
Education / Experience :
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and procedures. Ability to effectively communicate to establish and maintain effective working relationships with doctors, patients, coworkers, management, and any other external customers.
Knowledge of medical insurances and various policies / requirements necessary to obtain verifications. Minimum of 2 years related experience in healthcare.
Experience in the management of a multi-line system.
