Registered Nurses: If you enjoy having plenty of time to spend one on one with your patients and the ability to build relationships, as well as the focus of high tech nursing specific to intravenous medications (TPN, antibiotics, immune globulin, etc.), PICC lines, Peripheral IV's and Central Venous Catheters, then consider an RN Home Infusion position. Average 3 nursing visits per 8 hour day with visits located around the Central New York area. Office is located in Dewitt, NY. Nurses receive a car allowance & gas card.

• This unique position involves visiting patients in their home settings throughout CNY for the purpose of providing IV therapy.
• Candidates should have reliable transportation and will receive vehicle & gas compensation.
• Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm with some on-call rotation.

CNY Infusion Services is a licensed home care agency with an infusion pharmacy that specializes in home infusion therapy. We are looking for a friendly, compassionate nurse that is able to work independently, has good critical thinking skills, strong assessment skills and enjoys patient education and high tech nursing.

This position involves:

• Assessing patients in their home
• Administration of infusion medications including antibiotics, TPN, IVIG, inotropic therapies, hydration, antiemetics, pain medications, etc.
• Interesting wide age range of patients with diverse diagnosis including: cancer, GI issues, hyperemesis, infections, neuropathy, heart failure, MS, ALS, respiratory issues, immune disorders, etc.
• Patient education
• Central Line / PICC line / Port dressing changes, access and lab draws
• Medtronic implanted pump access, filling and programming
• Peripheral IV starts
• IV care and blood draws
• Orientation and training are tailored to specific employee experience and needs.
• Basic Wound care / assessment
