Description
Job Title: Customer Service Manager
Job Summary:
Properly manage and provide leadership for the day-to-day management of the contracts department staff, customer communications, and coordination of site quoting activities while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals.
Essential Job Functions:
The position will be responsible for managing and administering customer contracts, generating cost estimates and drafting quote proposals for potential applications for military/aerospace copper assembly and industrial products. Excellent communications skills, written and verbal, are a must for this position. The individual will report to the General Manager and will interface with customers, outside sale, inside sales, contract Administrators, manufacturing engineering, and operations functions in order to achieve the goal of securing new business.
It is the manager’s responsibility to establish performance goals for all contracts department employees and monitor the performance on a continual basis. As well, oversee all hiring, terminating, and training of personnel. Will prepare sales department reports for management analysis, prepare and maintain the backlog reports and ISO documentation. Lead quoting meetings and coordinate sales operations with all other departments within the company. Will be responsible for full review of all costing activity in support of quotes and proposals.
The customer Service Manager will coordinate and collaborate with Sales, Application Engineering, and Materials to ensure the best solution for the customer’s proposal and competitive gross margins for the company. The Customer Service Manager will be expected to pull together all necessary information into a coherent proposal for submittal to the customer.

BS degree plus min of 3 years sales or contract management experience or AS degree and 5 years sales management experience or equivalent experience
