Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and customer service, with a focus on providing an exceptional shopping experience. Fluency in English is required. Bi-lingual candidates a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences - Demonstrate product knowledge and assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions - Process sales transactions using a point of sale system - Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
Qualifications:
- 1- 3 years of previous retail experience (cashier/stock experience, sales etc.) - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong organizational and time management skills - Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays - Bilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish, is a plus
Additional Requirements: - Possesses current knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace - Must be at least 18 years of age.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Technical: Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills (including the ability to use iPad/laptop, Mobile POS and Internet).
Physical: Ability to execute at a fast pace. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team. Ability to maneuver the sales floor, sales shelves, and stock room; climbing, bending, and kneeling are required.
Schedule: Ability to meet Coach Scheduling & Availability Expectations, including ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays high retail traffic and sales days (including but not limited to the day after Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Christmas Eve, Mother’s Day, etc.).
