We are looking for a talented Assistant Designer with a diverse portfolio demonstrating mastery of craft. Your demonstrated skillset will span multiple development milestones; drawing upon your design talent and technical skills to create visual assets that support the Design process cross-functionally.
As member of the Design Technology team, you'll join a diverse, multidisciplinary team that supports the Design Studio from both a creative and technology perspective.
This position will report to the Director, Design Technology.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to…
• Create design assets (color palettes, textures, brushes, symbols, and sketches) for use in visual tools & applications.
• Create, preserve, and share digital color palettes seasonally.
• Manage cross functional tools spanning multiple product categories
• Work pro-actively according to the Product Development Calendar to stay ahead of timelines.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Materials Management, and Global Merchandising to build an integrated working relationship.
• Build and maintain an organized file management system.
• Manage and maintain Xerox laser printer, Epson Scanner, and consumables.
• Quickly learn our processes and workflows—and then improve upon them!
The accomplished individual will possess…
• Bachelor’s degree in fashion design, textile design, graphic design, or related field.
• Internship or professional work experience in fashion design, textile design, graphic design, or related field.
• Highly skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Sophisticated color sense, experienced in color matching.
• Ability to take direction and follow through on projects.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities (quickly and efficiently) with tight deadlines.
• Analytical, creative and innovative approach to solving problems
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• A passion for cutting edge technology & design
• Understanding of Coach aesthetic.
