The Coalition for Engaged Education is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides voluntary services to system-impacted youth in Los Angeles County through trauma-informed, restorative justice and strengths-based programming. We serve “at-risk” and current or former justice involved youth through our C/HOPE program and youth currently or previously involved with DCFS and the foster care system through our C/FORWARD program.

About the Position

The Coalition is looking for an individual who is dedicated to empowering system-involved youth and disrupting the various systemic barriers they face for the Full-Time Program Manager position. Reporting to the Director of Programs, the incumbent will provide intensive mobile case management and help oversee a team of case managers with implementing various programs.

LCSW PROGRAM MANAGER – Job Description

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Assists Director of Programs in clinical program development and meeting grant compliance goals.
• Supervises assigned staff, including provision of clinical supervision hours for staff/interns who are BBS registered.
• Ensures that clinical staff completes quality documentation in the electronic health record (Apricot).
• Monitors client caseloads to ensure that all bio-psychosocial assessments, individualized service plans, consents and progress notes are entered in a timely manner.
• Plans and implements clinical training for staff.
• Maintains detailed knowledge of, and monitors compliance with Apricot documentation and service delivery benchmarks for grant reporting.
• Participates in scheduled case consultation meetings with contracted community partners.
• Attends community meetings, workshops and seminars for networking and information sharing.
• Assists in crisis situations and helps to facilitate client transfers to higher levels of care when needed.
• Hires, trains, evaluates and develops corrective action plans for staff in collaboration with the Director of Programs
• Leads and Co-facilitates clinical and non-clinical groups
• Maintains continuing education units required for licensure and supervision

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Social Work with valid CA LCSW license for at least two years.
• Experience in delivering individual and group supervision with ACSWs, MSW interns, Case Managers and staff with lived experience.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a non-profit setting
• Demonstrates working knowledge and commitment in delivering services and supervision through a trauma informed lens
• Demonstrates assertive, collaborative and compassionate leadership skills
• Strong writing and verbal skills
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolutions skills
• Experience working with system impacted youth and their caregivers
• Experience working and maintaining relationships with referral sources such as Probation Officers, District Attorneys, Social Workers and School Counselors.
• Demonstrates commitment to uplifting social justice and mental health issues, specifically issues impacting system-involved youth
• Has some experience in restorative justice practices, leading groups and alternative healing practices
• Full computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and Zoom
• Knowledge working within an electronic health record (Apricot preferable)
• Possesses a valid driver’s license
• Has reliable transportation
• Fully vaccinated and boosted

Location: Santa Monica office, some field work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $87,000.00 per year
