Job Details:
Coastal Ferry is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Admin Assistant/Receptionist, with a focus on non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) dispatching and sales support. This multifaceted position requires a blend of administrative skills, dispatching expertise, and sales competence. NEMT Dispatching: Efficiently coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of drivers. Utilize knowledge of area geography, traffic patterns, and client schedules to optimize route efficiency and ensure timely service delivery.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the office operations, including answering and transferring phone calls, data entry using our routing software, and maintaining office supplies. Attention to detail and organizational skills are crucial for managing these tasks effectively.
Sales Support: Actively engage in sales activities to generate new ride opportunities and expand our client base. This includes outbound calling to healthcare facilities and private pay clients to promote our services and secure ride bookings. Strong communication skills and a persuasive demeanor are essential for success in this aspect of the role.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and staff members. Answer inquiries, address concerns, and ensure a positive experience for all interactions, whether in person, over the phone, or via email.

Monday-Friday
10:00AM-6:00PM
Additional hours available on Saturday's

Pay:
$16.00 per hour

Must have reliable transportation

Qualifications:

Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer service roles, such as retail, hospitality, or receptionist positions, is highly valued. Candidates should demonstrate a friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Sales Skills: We're seeking candidates with a proven track record in sales or upselling. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build rapport with customers over the phone, identify their needs, and effectively promote our services.
Call Center Experience: Experience working in a call center environment is advantageous. Candidates should be comfortable handling a high volume of incoming calls while maintaining professionalism and providing attentive service.
Dispatching or Logistics Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in dispatching or logistics, particularly in transportation or delivery services. Knowledge of routing software, traffic patterns, and geographical areas is beneficial for efficient driver dispatching.
Multitasking Abilities: The ability to multitask effectively is essential for this role. Candidates should be capable of juggling multiple responsibilities, such as answering phones, dispatching drivers, and performing administrative tasks, with accuracy and attention to detail.
Problem-Solving Skills: We're looking for candidates who can think quickly on their feet and find solutions to customer inquiries or issues. Experience in roles requiring problem-solving and conflict resolution is highly desirable.
